Emerson Conrad-Rooney

Emerson Conrad-Rooney is a Ph.D. student in the Department of Biology. They are focusing on studying how forest carbon sequestration will be impacted by climate change, particularly during the winter. They are also interested in how trends in atmospheric deposition over time differ between urban and rural areas. Emerson received their Bachelor’s degree from Wellesley College with a major in Biological Sciences and a minor in Environmental Studies. In their free time, they enjoy running, playing the mandolin, and crocheting.
