Bioinformatics
Emily Kim is a Bioinformatics PhD candidate in the Bhatnagar lab at Boston University. She was born and raised in Florida and fell in love with all things microbial at the University of Florida, where she studied microbiology and computer science. She is currently interested in modeling plant-pathogen-mycorrhizal fungus dynamics in urban environments, particularly to see how mycorrhizal addition can impact plant and pathogen growth. In her free time, she enjoys playing volleyball, spending time with her two cats, and snowboarding.
