Catherine Connolly (Kate) received her PhD from the Department of Environmental Health at Boston University’s School of Public Health in the Summer of 2022. She then completed a postdoctoral appointment at Columbia University Mailman School of Public Health and the Natural Resources Defense Council, focusing on public health equity, housing justice, and equitable building decarbonization in both academic research and community-engaged collaborations. Currently, she works as an Emergency Management Specialist at The Cadmus Group as a consultant on FEMA projects related to resilience and continuous improvement. Kate is a huge fan of soccer and Jeopardy!
