Beth Haley received a Ph.D. from the Department of Environmental Health at Boston University School of Public Health (BUSPH) in 2023. She is interested in how water resources and health are influenced by natural and built environments under the pressures of climate and land use change. Beth arrived at BUSPH with a background in ecology, conservation, and communications. She received a BA in Conservation Biology at Boston University and a MA in Environmental Studies with a concentration in Environmental Education from Prescott College. Her past roles include research coordinator on a mixed-use ranch in western Colorado, technician in the Rudgers-Whitney plant ecology lab at the University of New Mexico, and Executive Director of TEDxABQ in Albuquerque, NM. Beth is an outdoor enthusiast and has biked across the country and up the length of the east coast.
