For two years, Annika worked as an ecological field technician for the scientific branch of the National Park Service, hiking across remote areas of the American Southwest to monitor vegetation communities and water systems. Annika is interested in the relationship between climate and urbanization, and its implications for ecological management and policy decisions. In her free time, she enjoys painting, woodworking, and geography.
