Anita Tendler is a Ph.D. student in the Department of Earth and Environment. She graduated from Cornell University in 2019 with a major in Animal Science and a dual minor Environmental Science and Sustainability and Climate Change. Previously, she has worked with the Environmental Defense Fund to develop strategic communications for the Clean Energy team. She has also worked with The Cadmus Group to develop greenhouse gas inventories for municipalities and other local governments, as well as quantitatively model policy mitigation strategies to meeting emission reductions goals. Her research interests focus on applying econometric techniques to model an accelerated and equitable transition to clean energy, and how interventional policies may bolster this transition. In her free time, Anita enjoys hiking and kayaking.
