Stepp Lab alum Gabriel Cler has been selected as an award recipient for the NIH Outstanding Scholars in Neuroscience Award Program (OSNAP)! The Outstanding Scholar in Neuroscience is a new postdoctoral recruiting effort designed to recognize and support those who are conducting exceptional research and have a great academic potential! Congratulations to lab member Roxanne Segina for winning the ASHFoundation's NSSLHA Graduate Student Scholarship! This endowed scholarship is awarded to students beginning their first year in a Communication Sciences and Disorders master's degree program. Roxanne will be recognized by the ASHFoundation at the 2019 ASHA Convention.

Defne Abur awarded ASHFoundation New Century Scholars Doctoral Scholarship!
Congratulations to lab member Defne Abur for winning the ASHFoundation New Century Scholars Doctoral Scholarship! This scholarship is awarded to strong doctoral candidates who are pursuing teacher-investigator careers in the academic environment. Defne will use this scholarship to help further her research examining auditory contributions to speech production in individuals with and without neurological disease.
