Troubleshooting

This page is where we will track any known issues and their statuses. If you need to report anything, please submit a ticket to ithelp@bu.edu.

    • When using Apple Devices (iPhone, Mac), the ICS Calendar download may experience an issue causing the schedule being displayed 1 hour ahead of what is actually scheduled. We are working with the vendor to fix ASAP.
    • Sending a Faculty Class Roster using Apple Mail will fail because the email addresses are separated by semicolon and not comma. We are working with vendor on configuration options. Use of Blackboard and downloading Class Roster are both successful workarounds.
    • Part-time or full-time status changes may be displayed incorrectly on the Student Portal.
    • Student Unofficial Transcripts open in a new window/popup. If you are having difficulty, please check pop-up blockers, and please note that it may take up to a minute to produce the transcript.
    • May graduations are not all in MyBU Student due to a timing issue – the team is working on adding them.
    • Error fixes resulting from the conversion are in progress – student records with issues have been identified with a service indicator – official transcripts will be processed in 5 -7 business days and unofficial transcripts will be available once the issues have been resolved.
