Special Health Care Needs
Welcome to the SHIELD Special Health Care Needs (SHCN) Library Pilot Site, an online resource built FOR School Nurses WITH School Nurses.
The goal of this site is to become a “one-stop shop” for school nurses searching for free, curated resources to support nursing care and coordination for students with special health care needs. Our site includes articles, videos, podcasts, and courses that address a diverse range of topics and medical conditions.
We curated sources with busy school nurses in mind, so all materials require two hours or LESS to complete or review.
This pilot site will be updated with new resources and features over time. It is so important that this site is relevant to YOU, our school nurse audience and feedback will be crucial as we expand our offerings.
Please join our email list and complete the brief survey to ensure this valuable resource meets its goal of being the go-to site for school nurses looking for SHCN content.
