Spotlight of the Week #7
11/2018 – This Spotlight of the Week goes to graduate researcher Ashley Collimore! Ashley is a First-Year PhD student in the Rehabilitation Sciences doctoral program at Sargent College who completed her undergraduate studies in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Pennsylvania. In the lab, she is working on developing a new control approach for wearable, powered assistive technologies (wearable robots and functional electrical stimulation) that combines information about the user’s movements with the environmental context to provide “smart”, task-aware mobility assistance. Ashley is an Adventurer who has worked at Six Flags Great Adventure for 3 years, 2 years in arcade and 1 year in the engineering department!
