Marielle Rogoff

Marielle’s project helps ensure that Food on the Move is making an impact. Food on the Move is a program run by the Rhode Island Public Health Institute. RIPHI is a non-profit based in Rhode Island that aims to solve complex public health issues using research, best public health practices, and community engagement. The ultimate goal is to create, test and share program / policy solutions that improve population health. There is focus on the topic of healthy food access to all. RIPHI runs a program called “Food on the Move” that makes healthy food accessible to all. This program offers a 50% discount on produce purchased with Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) dollars. She engaged with the team working on Food on the Move projects and initiatives and educational tools revolving around nutrition and access to nutritious foods.
