By examining the health disparities associated with COVID-19 screenings, the project aimed to better address the barriers inhibiting vulnerable communities from receiving adequate and proper care. Through a thorough examination of the collected data, Open Door Health (ODH) can better assess where to allocate time and resources to minimize various health risks and/or disease consequences associated with COVID-19. Completed through ODH and in conjunction with the Rhode Island Public Health Institute, this project was targeted to build upon ODH’s core mission of cultivating inclusivity and community while providing accessible care to those typically underserved and overlooked in the Providence area.
