An Adjunct Associate Professor of Environmental Health at Boston University, she researches how environmental exposures affect the nervous system, focusing on areas like Gulf War veterans' health, endocrine disruptors, and prenatal development.

A Professor at Boston University, she focuses on community-driven environmental health research, including studies on chronic kidney disease in Central America and heat exposure in Massachusetts.

Candice Bangham, MPH

Senior Program Manager & Regional Coordinator

Senior program manager for NEPHTC’s Leadership Institute at Boston University School of Public Health. She received her B.A. in Sociology from the University of North Carolina at Asheville and her MPH from Boston University.

Lindsay Kastner, MPH

Program Assistant

Program Assistant for both New England Public Health Training Center (NEPHTC) and the Local Public Health Institute (LPHI) of Massachusetts. Lindsay received a B.A. in Environmental Politics and Policy from Colorado State University and a Master of Public Health in Environmental Health from Boston University School of Public Health.

Mark Takakjy

Training Manager

Training Manager serving both New England Public Health Training Center (NEPHTC) and the Local Public Health Institute (LPHI) of Massachusetts. Mark received a B.S. in Game Development and Production from Drexel University and has centered his career around taking the need for effective training content using industry level digital media production tools and practices.

Maurine Crouch, MPH

Student Placement Manager & CHES Manager

Program manager in the Office of Public Health Practice at the Yale School of Public Health. She works with the New England Public Health Training Center as the training partner for Connecticut, focused on continuing education for public health professionals.

Hope Kenefick

Victoria Pedersen Ciulla

MPH Candidate, Data Analyst

Master of Public Health candidate attending Boston University SPH with Certificates of Epidemiology/Biostatistics and Health Communication. Her position as Graduate Student Data Analyst with the NEPHTC works in support of the program through data collection, analysis, and operational support of stakeholders.
