Low-income populations in Maine struggle to access healthy and nutritious food to eat, and as a result they may face health issues such as obesity. Maine SNAP-Ed implements many programs to empower low-income people to be able to obtain nutritious food. Gabrielle’s goal was to develop an understanding of these programs and then develop five Success Stories that highlight the program outcomes so that Maine SNAP-Ed can share this with stakeholders.
