Postdoctoral Fellow positions

We are seeking talented and highly motivated post-doctoral candidates to work on a newly funded R01 project on Systems Biology of Aging. This position is focused on studying the mechanisms of aging using sequencing and single-cell imaging approaches. Candidates should have, or will soon receive, a PhD in Molecular Biology, Computational Biology or related fields.

Candidates with background in yeast genetics, imaging/microscopy and/or aging biology are strongly encouraged to apply. Prior experience with both experimental and computational aspects of high-throughput sequencing (e.g. RNA-seq, ribosome profiling) and single cell approaches is highly desirable, but it is not a requirement. For computationally-trained candidates, knowledge of genomics, biostatitstics, and programming skills in a statistical language (Matlab, R) and/or a scripting language (e.g. Python) are required.

To apply please send a CV, contact information for 3 references, and a brief letter describing research experience and interests to vlabuns@bu.edu

Graduate Student positions

We are accepting graduate students. Prospective students should apply to Boston University’s graduate Program in Biomedical Sciences (PiBS). If you are already admitted to  PiBS program, please email vlabuns@bu.edu to discuss a rotation.

Undergraduate or Post-Baccalaureate Student positions

We welcome talented undergraduate students. In particular, undergrads with prior molecular biology lab experience are encouraged to apply.
