Anna Donato
Lab Manager
Anna is a research assistant in the Infant Communication Lab at Boston University. She received her Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Pittsburgh and a Certificate of Leadership Studies. At Pitt, Anna spent her undergraduate years as a research assistant in Dr. Iverson’s Infant Communication Lab and upon graduation, joined her at BU. During her time in the Pitt ICL, Anna investigated the relationship between infant locomotor status and caregiver gesture input during everyday play. She also examined physical positioning during dyadic play in preterm infants. Her current research interests focus on the developmental links between walking, exploration, social communication, and language. In her free time, Anna likes to travel, hike, try new restaurants, and cheer on Philadelphia sports teams.
