Dr. Liu works with Dr. Al-Hamden to develop and carry out satellite-based PM estimation including land use regression, using the two-stage algorithm that is described in Hu et al. (2014). Dr. Liu, with help from Dr. Kevin Lane and a postdoc at Boston University, are responsible for compiling and processing all the data needed to run the model for the east coast areas (i.e., NYC, Boston).
