Public Transportation

We recommend that guests utilize public transportation when coming to campus. The Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority (commonly referred to as the MBTA) offers a variety of options to come to the city of Boston.

The Green Line B trains that are part of the MBTA’s subway system run directly through BU’s Charles River Campus, as well as multiple bus routes.

On-campus Parking

Parking your vehicle on-campus during Family & Friends Weekend is permitted in specific lots at certain times. A complimentary, parking permit for the 2026 weekend will be posted prior to the festivities. Please print the complimentary parking pass prior to your arrival on campus. You will need to scan the QR code on the pass to gain free access to designated parking lots and you’ll need to put the printed permit on your dashboard. Please do not take a parking ticket upon entrance.
