We’re so excited to see you! Boston University’s Family & Friends Weekend is happening October 16-18, 2026. This is your chance to see your Terrier in their element! Walk around campus together, meet their friends, maybe grab dinner at their favorite spot. These are the moments that make our hearts happy — watching you discover the community your student calls home.

Boston is especially beautiful in October — and right from campus, you can watch the Head of the Charles Regatta as it unfolds along the river all weekend. Don’t miss the chance to see the boats glide by with the fall colors as a backdrop! We’ve also created a list of local restaurants and sites as well as area hotels.
