Objectives

Primary objectives of the evaluation:

At the facility-level, to measure:

1. Availability of NCD medicines at public and private non-profit facilities
2. Price of NCD medicines at public private non-profit facilities
3. Availability and price of NCD medicines at alternative for-profit drug sellers

At the household-level, to measure:

4. Availability of NCD medicines at households with NCD patients
5. Price per unit paid for NCD medicines at households with NCD patients
6. Expenditure on NCD medicines at households with NCD patients in relation to household wealth

Secondary objectives of the evaluation:

At the facility-level, to measure:

1. Provider behavior diagnosing and prescribing NCD medicines

At the household-level, to measure:

2. Awareness of NCD medicines in households with NCD patients
