Background and Research Interests
Yash Patel earned his B.S. in Biomedical Engineering with a concentration in Nanotechnology and a minor in Electrical Engineering from Boston University in 2025. His undergraduate research spanned cell culture, biosensing, microfluidics, and circuit design, focusing on wireless electrochemical sensors for scalable biomanufacturing. He joined the Wireless Integrated and Extreme (WISE) Circuits Lab as a Ph.D. student in 2025 under Professor Rabia Tugce Yazicigil. His research focuses on developing low-power, mixed-signal ASICs for next-generation biosensing systems, with the goal of enabling compact, reliable, and widely deployable health and environmental monitoring technologies.
