Sarah Adams

Sarah is a post-doctoral fellow in the Wong Lab. Co-advised by Professor’s Mark Grinstaff and Wilson Wong during her PhD, Sarah’s doctoral research was firmly at the intersection of biomaterials and cell and immunotherapies, working to assess how biomaterials can be coupled with cell therapies to enhance their overall safety and specificity. Sarah received the prestigious NIH F31 Ruth Kirchstein-NRSA Fellowship (2024), as well as a recipient of Boston University’s Translational Research in Biomaterials fellowship. As a post-doctoral fellow, Sarah is continuing her work in immunotherapy, assessing how more complex functions can be built into immune cells to enhance their activity. Outside lab, Sarah is an avid baker (one of several in the Wong Lab), and also enjoys reading and running as well.
