Sarah Adams
Sarah is a 5th Year PhD Student in the Department of Biomedical engineering. Co-advised by Professor’s Mark Grinstaff and Wilson Wong, Sarah’s research lies firmly at the intersection of biomaterials and cell and immunotherapies, working to assess how biomaterials can be coupled with cell therapies to enhance their overall safety and specificity. Sarah is a recipient of the prestigious NIH F31 Ruth Kirchstein-NRSA Fellowship (2024), as well as a recipient of Boston University’s Translational Research in Biomaterials fellowship. Outside lab, Sarah is an avid baker (one of several in the Wong Lab), and also enjoys reading and running as well.
