Sophia Regazzini

Secretary

Sophia Regazzini serves as secretary for the Urban Planning Association. In this position, she supports the organization’s administrative needs by preparing meeting agendas, recording meeting minutes and notes, and tracking organizational activities.
She’s currently pursuing an MS in City Planning with an anticipated graduation date of August 2027 and holds a BFA in Architecture from Massachusetts College of Art and Design. Originally from Reading, Massachusetts, she’s proud to call the Greater Boston area home and grateful to work for such a vibrant community.
Her current role is with the City of Cambridge’s Communications and Community Engagement Department, where she is a member of the Civic Outreach Squad. Collaborating with City staff across departments, she helps develop, design, and deploy outreach strategies and materials for various events and programs. Previously, she worked as an associate interior designer, creating mood boards, technical drawings, and 3D models, sourcing materials, and overhauling the company’s CAD standards and file organization system. She also worked as a research and curatorial assistant on Black Architecture: Vision for an Infrastructural City, a gallery exhibition highlighting the work of local architecture firm Stull & Lee, best known for their work on the Southwest Corridor.
