Chen Meng is Assistant Professor in Economics at Kean University and formerly a Postdoctoral Associate at TPRI. She focuses her research on Applied Microeconomics in the areas of Labor, Education, Law and Economics, and Health. She is currently working on research about the labor market outcomes such as wage inequalities that were induced by companies’ investment in technology, hiring strategy, or external policies. Chen received her PhD in Economics and MS in Mathematics from University of Illinois, Chicago. Prior to joining TPRI, she worked as a Postdoctoral Research Specialist in Law and Economics at the University of Chicago. She is also a Research Affiliate at UC Berkeley Haas School of Business.
