About

The training program is a joint effort between the College of Engineering at Boston University and Radiology at Brigham and Women’s Hospital.  Our goal is to produce the next generation of imaging scientists that are both well trained and well rounded. To achieve this goal, we have assembled a strong team of research scientists and engineers, clinicians, and industry representatives well versed in the technical, clinical, and translational aspects of imaging. At the completion of the program, trainees will have a solid foundation in core engineering and imaging principles, will have received training in research design and technology development, and will have gained valuable insight into the process for translating new imaging technologies and methodologies both clinically and commercially. Ultimately, trainees will be prepared to enter the workforce and develop systems and strategies that improve the performance and expand the utility of biomedical imaging and image-guided interventions.
