T4T Health Research Team
The T4T Health Research Team, based in the Department of Community Health Sciences at the Boston University School of Public Health, studies how social context—including schools, work, families, and romantic relationships—shape the health of young adults. Much of this work focuses on LGBTQ+ young people, particularly trans/nonbinary young adults. We approach this work from a strengths-based perspective, and community input plays a vital role in our research.

The T4T Team is organized by Dr. Gabe Murchison, Assistant Professor of Community Health Sciences. Our active work includes the Whole Selves Project, a long-term research project exploring how trans/nonbinary young adults navigate romantic relationships in the context of marginalization.
