The Team

We are a group of Turkish women living in the United States who volunteered to archive the stories of women who have resisted the oppression after the failed coup attempt in Turkey in 2016. While we live free and safe outside of Turkey, many of our friends and family members are facing persecution in their own land. We feel responsible for keeping these life-changing stories so that the next generations will not remain silent and uphold human rights and justice. 

Because we are an independent non-profit group, we are always open and willing to collaborate with academics, writers, editors, and journalists as long as it helps spread the true stories of the women we interviewed.
