Join the team and make a difference

SHPE offers Noche de Ciencias events to engage and inspire Hispanic youth (and their parents) toward STEM careers through interactive STEM activities, bilingual parent workshops, resources on funding college, and encouraging Familia.

We are offering three virtual Noche de Ciencias in May –

West | Regions 1 & 2 | Tuesday, May 18 | 5-8pm PT
Central | Regions 3, 5, & 6 | Wednesday, May 19 | 5-8pm CT
East | Regions 4 & 7 | Thursday, May 20 | 5-8pm ET

Volunteers are essential to the success of every SHPE event and these Noche de Ciencias events are no different. Volunteers commit to the planning, development, and execution of the overall event. We couldn’t do it without them!

We are in need of two types of volunteers –

The Noche de Ciencias Planning Committee is composed of professional and student members who volunteer to serve. Subcommittees are made up of General Volunteers and are the heart of planning for the event, responsible for supporting the committee chairs to execute the Noche de Ciencias curriculum.
