Own It: A Conversation with Alumni About Diversity & Inclusion in the Workspace

Boston University’s Center for Career Development and Educational Resource Center is working in collaboration with the Young Alumni of Color Network to host a diversity & inclusion networking event called Own It: A Conversation with Alumni About Diversity & Inclusion in the Workspace on Thursday, April 9th, 2020 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Dahod Family Alumni Center, 225 Bay State Rd, Boston MA 02215. You can find the Handshake page here to RSVP.

We hope to make this an opportunity for Boston University students and alumni from diverse backgrounds, including, but not limited to those who identify as POC, LGBTQ+, and first-generation college students, to establish professional connections, cultivate community with one another and celebrate diversity within the professional workspace. The event will consist of an alumni panel, speed networking session, and a casual mixer. We would love to invite you to attend and gain potential long-lasting connections with Boston University alumni!

In addition, they are actively looking for a student moderator for our panel portion of the event. This will be an amazing chance to connect with the alumni panelists and be a part of our initiative. If you are interested in the position, the moderator application form can be found here. We hope to see you there!
