Arnold Rodriguez Robles

Arnold Rodríguez Robles earned his Ph.D. in School Psychology, with an emphasis in Quantitative Methods in the Social Sciences, from the University of California, Santa Barbara. He is currently a postdoctoral fellow in the Department of Applied Psychology in Education and Research Methodology at Indiana University Bloomington, where he teaches graduate- and undergraduate-level courses and supervises doctoral trainees conducting neurodevelopmental assessments in a university-based training clinic.

Drawing on his background as a dual-language immersion teacher and his training in school psychology, Arnold is committed to advancing equitable assessment practices for culturally and linguistically diverse children. Reflecting this commitment, his dissertation focused on the development and psychometric validation of a school readiness screener designed for use with students from diverse language backgrounds. Broadly, his research focuses on advancing psychometric methodologies, examining executive functioning and language development in early childhood, and improving neuropsychological assessment practices for culturally and linguistically diverse youth. Through this work, he aims to develop culturally sound diagnostic tools and evidence-based practices that improve outcomes for diverse children and families.
