Hi, my name is Kaylee or, for short and for gender affirmation, Lee! I’m a Library Coordinator at the Pickering Educational Resources Library and have been working here since January 2020. Prior to working at BU, I was a library assistant at a public library, a bookseller, and a nonprofit volunteer coordinator. I moved to Boston from Maryland to pursue a degree in Writing and Publishing, and I especially love media for young people. As an agender lesbian with a host of queer and trans people in my life, I am happy to connect on topics relating to either gender or sexuality. I came out as nonbinary and gay about ten years ago and love hearing other people’s coming out stories. Especially as relates to navigating gender and nonbinary pronouns in the workplace, I hope that the BU Out List can be a space to find solidarity and share tips.
