Judi (she/her) is the Director of Labor Relations and served as the Co-Chair of BU’s first inaugural LGBTQIA+ Task Force. She launched her career as an attorney with the National Labor Relations Board, and works to create environments where faculty and staff are treated with dignity, fairness, and respect – where they can thrive and do their best work. Her work also encompasses the negotiation of collective bargaining agreements on behalf of the University, and compliance with labor and employment laws pertaining to the Higher Ed workplace. Judi is a graduate of Howard University and holds a J.D. from Villanova University School of Law, as well as certifications in trial advocacy through the NLRB. Judi played rugby competitively and was president of Philadelphia Women’s Rugby Club. She was active in the fight for marriage equality, was active in the fight for marriage equality, and her family was featured by GLAD (GLBTQ Legal Advocates and Defenders).
