Jamie Shore joined the Registration and Financial Aid Office as the Financial Aid Officer and Advanced Studies Coordinator in Spring 2021 as she finished up her Master of Divinity degree at the School of Theology. As a student, she worked as the Administrative Coordinator for BU’s Center for Practical Theology and discovered a love for the administrative side of theological education.

Working in theological education is an extension of Jamie’s calling to lay ministry. Jamie’s goal for her work with financial aid and advanced studies programs at STH is to advocate for students who face financial and social barriers navigating the structures of higher education and to help steward policies that facilitate more just and equitable access to the institution.

Jamie and her fiancée live in an Episcopalian intentional community in Allston, MA, centered on prayer, hospitality, and justice work. In her free time, she tends her household’s community garden project, plays cards with her housemate.
