I teach courses on queer American literature and Gothic fiction, and strive to take an intersectional approach to these topics. In my role directing the CAS Writing Center, I mentor our peer consultants and work with them to create an inclusive and equitable community for students of all identities to receive support with their writing. Outside of my work at BU, I love to read, write, knit, and cook. I also spent many years working as a seasonal National Park Service ranger and continue to enjoy visiting historical sites with my partner.
