As one of the Assistant Directors of First-Year Success, I work with the first-year students in COM, CFA, and Wheelock. Alongside students’ other advisors, I provide holistic advising and student support, develop programming, and help first-year students build community and connection here at BU.

I came from suburban Florida to attend BU, and I fell completely in love with Boston. I spent a couple of years after I graduated living here and working in theater (with The Theater Offensive and Company One) before making my way back to BU as a staff member in 2018. My heart lies with helping students to feel that they belong. I’d love to talk about adjusting to Boston and/or BU, sorting through gender feelings, finding a space for yourself, or really anything at all.

I currently live in Boston with my wife, Liv, and our two cats, Bo and Pawl Simon. When I’m not working, I’m usually reading, biking, cooking, analyzing music, crocheting, or watching Liv play video games.
