Raised in the Black Hills of South Dakota, Dakota graduated from the University of Northern Colorado (UNC) with his Bachelor’s in Business Administration: Marketing and certificates in Digital Marketing and Music Technology. At Tufts University, he is pursuing his Master’s degree in Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Justice Leadership. Professionally, Dakota has worked at UNC’s Gender and Sexuality Resource Center as the Social Media and Professional Development Coordinator and as the Digital Marketing Coordinator for the University of Northern Colorado where he advocated for and executed more inclusive social media practices and other marketing efforts. Beyond work, Dakota enjoys anything music related (singing, concerts, playing guitar, writing, etc.)
