I’m an Assistant Professor in Anthropology and Biology, and affiliated faculty in Women’s, Gender, and Sexuality studies. The central research questions of my lab involve primate development and life history and incorporate techniques from behavioral ecology, morphometrics, and genomics across the Order Primates and in vervet monkeys (Chlorocebus spp.), in particular. I’m also particularly active in DEI work on campus and in broader contexts, mainly focusing on queer inclusion and anti-racism in STEM. I’m the faculty mentor for BU’s undergraduate and graduate oSTEM chapters, which focus on queer inclusivity in STEM fields. Feel free to reach out to me via email if you’d like to chat, particularly about being queer in STEM contexts!
