Being a bisexual cis woman married to a cishet man means that I “pass” as straight, but I am not. I have rarely encountered oppression due to my orientation or relationships, including my past relationships with women, which is a privilege I do not take for granted; at the same time, I have often felt erased. I feel seen when I interact with members of the queer community who have had experiences similar to mine.
