Sara Parker (she/they) is a PhD student in the Ecology, Behavior, and Evolution program, where she studies color variation in tortoise beetles. Sara is a self-proclaimed ‘insect nerd’, and hopes to employ their science to advocate for insect conservation. When not wrangling hundreds of lab beetles, she can be found singing on stage with her dad’s band or attending local drag shows.
