Junus Khan

Junus Khan is the Founder & President of Carbitex, where he pioneered flexible carbon fiber composites, securing three patented technologies: OmniFlex, MonoFlex, and GearFlex. Under his leadership, Carbitex has established a U.S. manufacturing base and successfully commercialized its innovations with leading global brands, including adidas, The North Face, Saucony, and Altra. Junus is recognized as an industry expert in applied footwear technology and has been an invited and featured speaker and panelist at major innovation and materials conferences, including: Future of Innovation – WA Federal Affairs Summit, Self-Assembly Summit – MIT, NW Materials Show – The Future of Carbon Fiber in Footwear. Beyond Carbitex, Junus is actively engaged in business and economic development. He serves as a Board Member for the Association of Washington Business, is a mentor at Fuse Fund, and has advised Governor Inslee’s Washington State Economic Recovery Task Force.
