Announcing the Racial Justice Competency Model (RJCM) Toolkit!

We are excited to share that the Racial Justice Competency Model (RJCM) Toolkit has launched! The Public Health Training Centers Network (PHTCN) and the National Network of Public Health Institutes (NNPHI) have created this free toolkit, which aims to support the implementation of the RJCM. The downloadable toolkit contains topical resources and helpful information for public health professionals enacting the RJCM.

Launched by the PHTCN and NNPHI in October 2022, the RJCM is an educational and operational framework for the public health workforce. The RJCM seeks to give public health professionals a single, clear, specific competency set for intentionally promoting equity and racial justice. The PHTCs, partners, and other public health professionals can use the RJCM for training, hiring, performance management, and policy development while addressing racism in public health.

The toolkit is available to download on the RJCM website!
