BUSPH Hosts Capitol Hill Briefing!

We are proud to share that on Thursday, July 20, the Center for Climate and Health at Boston University School of Public Health hosted a Capitol Hill Briefing. The briefing, “Building Equitable Resilience to Climate Events,” aimed to inform Congressional staff about how they can implement policies to build more equitable health outcomes for all through supporting and protecting the most vulnerable communities from climate change. Presentations focused on community-based efforts to address the outcomes of extreme climate events and building resilience among the most at-risk populations. Senator Ed Markey (D-MA) delivered closing remarks about the importance of addressing climate change through policy.
