3 NEPHTC Courses Selected for Public Health Americorps
NEPHTC is delighted to announce that the CDC, in partnership with Americorps, has curated and selected three of NEPTHC’s courses to be part of a training plan for the new Public Health Americorps program. According to the email we received, the program “supports the recruitment, training, and development of a new generation of public health leaders who will be ready to respond to the nation’s public health needs. Organizations from across the country host volunteer members to work on programs addressing local needs. The program expects roughly 1000 members in its first year.”
