Maine is seeing many immigrants coming to the state and there are many gaps in accessing healthcare, housing, transportations, insurance, jobs, etc. in these communities that we don’t see in the lower, middle and upper Caucasian population in Maine. The goal of this project was to put together committees (grant committee, clinical committee, aging committee, student and academic committee, community and faith-based committee and an other committee) that work together in a noncompetitive environment to help bridge these gaps.
