
Editorial Manager, Boston Ujima Project
Alula Hunsen is an essayist, editor, and publisher at the Boston Ujima Project. His specific intrigues lie in Black cultural production and economies that support self-determination; his work has appeared in Technology Review, Boston Art Review, Hobart Pulp, Nonprofit Quarterly, The Bay State Banner, on his website, and in Ujima’s various publications. He has also edited and published small book projects with Ujima Press, including a cookbook project, a reader series, a poetry chapbook, and an annual post-capitalist lifestyle magazine. He holds a Master’s in City Planning and a Bachelor’s in Mathematical Economics from MIT.
