Professors Vladimir Brusic and Guanglan Zhang Awarded $149,461 Grant by Pfizer

December 15th, 2013 in News.

The MET HIlab is pleased to announce that Pfizer has awarded a $149,461 grant to Professors Vladimir Brusic (at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute) and Guanglan Zhang to develop next-generation immunogenicity prediction tools. This project will enable a high degree of accuracy for predicting immunogenicity as it will for the first time generate an in silico tool modeled on relevant analytical data generated in Pfizer and elsewhere, which accounts for both processing and presentation of peptides by the immune system. The project is closely related to the research and teaching in the Health Informatics program at MET.  It will be very beneficial for the students in the Health Informatics program through thesis and project engagement as well as the coursework.
