DSLab at the BU Campus Climate Lab Symposium
DSLab researchers Xindi (Cindy) Liao, Irene Skandalakis, and Artrmiy Yakushin delivered a presentation titled “Roadmap for Green Lab Certification” to participants at the BU Campus Climate Lab (CCL) symposium on April 15, 2026. The presentation summarized their project, supported by CCL, that evaluated the readiness for green (i.e., sustainable) laboratory operations that would apply to the 400+ BU labs on both campuses. The work is consistent with the BU Climate Action Plan that targets net carbon neutrality by 2040 by supporting practices like sustainable chemical substitutions and energy-efficient equipment upgrades.
