DSLab Active at NEDSI 2026
Eight DSLab researchers attended the 2026 Northeast Decision Sciences Institute (NEDSI) conference held in Philadelphia (April 2026). DSLab researcher Xindi Liao presented a paper titled “Adapting Chemical Laboratory Operations for Improved Sustainability,” co-authored by Xinyue Zhang, Irene Skandalakis, and Artemiy Yakushin (Artemiy and Xinyue were unable to attend). Irene Skandalakis also presented a poster called “Improving Sustainable Equipment and Green Chemistry Practices for University Labs,” co-authored by Artemiy Yakushin. The presentation and poster were based on work that was sponsored by the BU Campus Climate Lab, which operates in the BU Institute for Global Sustainability. Preethi Srinivasan made a presentation entitled “A Methodology To Select An Ancillary Services Supplier For Healthcare Organizations,” co-authored by Jingran Li and Professor David Weidman (who were unable to attend). Ishwarya Jose, Devina Mayori, and Yiqiu Li presented a poster titled “The Status of Post-Covid ERM and BCP at Biopharma Firms.” In addition, new researchers Florence Metivier and Nursaya Imamurat attended the conference.
