Stephanie Brown
Research Assistant
Stephanie joined the lab as a research assistant in 2022. Previously, she graduated with a BA in Psychology and Philosophy from Williams College in 2020. At Williams, she completed an honors thesis on trait-level inconsistency in moral decision-making with Dr. Jeremy Cone. Before joining the Litz Lab, she worked as a research assistant at McLean Hospital in the Dr. Darrick Balu’s Translational Psychiatry Lab, where she studied the neurobiological mechanisms underlying synaptic and behavioral abnormalities associated schizophrenia, autism, and Alzheimer’s disease. Broadly, Stephanie is interested in how we understand ourselves and the world as existing within a moral framework, and the role these understandings may have on psychosocial functioning after experiencing trauma.
